Frequently asked questions
From what age can my child start playing the violin?
From around age 3 with the Suzuki method, where a parent takes part in the lessons and practises with the child at home. Older beginners are of course also welcome.
What do violin lessons cost?
In spring term 2026, a term of 14 lessons costs from SEK 5,000 (20 min/week) to SEK 9,700 (60 min/week), VAT included. See the price list above.
Do I as a parent need to attend the lessons?
Yes — for younger children a parent always attends the lesson and acts as practice partner at home. This is a central part of the Suzuki method.
How much should my child practise?
Ideally a little every day. Short, regular sessions beat long, infrequent ones — see the practice tips in the menu.
Are there spots available?
The number of spots is limited — see available times in the calendar below, or join the waiting list for next term.
